Akeron and TECNIBERIA: a new partnership to support digitalization processes in the engineering sector

Lucca – Madrid, March 7, 2024 – Akeron announces a new partnership with Tecniberia, an ambitious collaboration that demonstrates the Italian company’s commitment to providing support to Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector companies in the Spanish market. The aim is to enable companies to digitalize their organizational processes for planning, managing, and controlling project profitability—essential elements for efficient growth.

Tecniberia represents Spanish organizations in engineering, architecture, and technical-economic consulting, bringing together many of the largest and most qualified engineering firms in the Iberian territory.

Having already established leadership in architecture and engineering in Italy, Akeron is now expanding to the Spanish market. This collaboration will introduce Tarko, the project management software for the AEC sector, to the market. Tarko enables the management of the entire lifecycle of corporate projects through a single platform, improving planning and process management, from feasibility studies to proposal creation, resource and material organization, and financial management. It enables real-time tracking of the profitability of each project.

Akeron aims to become a reference in Spain for companies, not just as a technological provider but as an innovation partner. In a global context marked by significant growth in the engineering sector, companies face complex challenges. Handling an increasing number of highly structured projects requires constant refinement of the business management model. Therefore, the adoption of methodologies, approaches, and digital tools is a priority and the essential first step to ensure success in project governance activities.

Through this collaboration, Akeron and Tecniberia aim to address these specific industry needs.

“The collaboration with Tecniberia is a significant step for Akeron’s internationalization – comments Manuel Vellutini, co-CEO of Akeron – Engineering and architecture companies in Italy recognize us as a reference point for digitalizing project processes. We have more than 40 clients, including major companies like ESA engineering, Milan Ingegneria, CEAS, ACPV, Archea, and many others. We intend to bring our expertise to Spain through a partnership that will undoubtedly create ambitious synergies. Today, especially in sectors like architecture and engineering, where humans are at the center of processes, technology is an essential ingredient to maximize the growth and efficiency of companies”.

“Our sector is a fundamental pillar for the country’s economy, and to keep Spanish engineering at the highest levels, it is a priority to promote technological transformation processes – says Joan Franco Poblet, president of Tecniberia “Tecniberia welcomes Akeron as a partner to support digitalization in the AEC sector, which must face complex and decisive challenges for the market’s future”.
