Today Manuel leads the group in its ambitious goal of becoming a global software solutions player in the fields of Sales Performance Management, Revenue Growth Management and Project Business Automation.
Graduating cum laude in Engineering from the University of Pisa, he began his career at CCH Tagetik, rising to co-CEO by the time Wolters Kluwer acquired the company in 2017. Under his leadership CCH Tagetik established itself on international markets as a global leader in the Corporate Performance Management market.
Oriented towards results and the creation of highly-performing organizations, Manuel has many interests that go beyond software: he loves traveling with his family, is a football fan and plays sports daily.
Today Marco leads the group’s strategic and product development through his passion for continuous innovation and technology. Marco is constantly looking for strategic partnerships that bring unique insights and values to the software. With a degree in Engineering, Marco held various roles at CCH Tagetik, becoming co-CEO before Wolters Kluwer acquired the company in 2017. Under his leadership CCH Tagetik was recognized as a market leading solution by Gartner analysts. For Marco, no idea is too ambitious, no challenge too difficult, all you need is the right attitude. Competitive and meticulous, he is passionate about tennis and skiing as well as having a special talent for interior design.
Akeron was founded in Lucca by engineer and entrepreneur Pierluigi Pierallini, who is also founder of CCH Tagetik. Pierluigi’s vision has always been clear: to create solutions that improve business processes and put customers at the center. His link with the city has always been strong as has his desire to promote a social vision, which sees the company contribute to local growth through employment and initiatives to support the city.
Pierluigi still regularly meets customers who visit our headquarters in Lucca and is always excited to exchange ideas with them on how to improve business processes and efficiency.
Akeron as it is today, was born from the merger of Akeron and Nubess, two companies from Lucca immersed in the world of Enterprise Software, which joined forces to create the Level up project.
This project created a new reality (also called Akeron) with a clear objective: to create modern solutions designed by industry experts.
Simone Bartalesi, founder of Nubess, together with Marco Pierallini and Manuel Vellutini, are the driving force behind the project. Today Simone continues to inspire the development of the Project Business Automation solution and leads the group’s Customer Success and Delivery teams
